Australia's CEO Challenge partners with Unity Training

Australia's CEO Challenge or ACEOC have partnered with Unity Training to provide training in Family and Domestic Violence in the Workplace Awareness.

Domestic and Family Violence Awareness Training for your workplace.

Sadly domestic and family violence is a real issue in WA and we have seen some truly terrible incidents in recent times.

Recognising that two thirds of women living with DFV are employed, Unity Training Services have created a partnership with Australia’s CEO Challenge (ACEOC), a not-for-profit organisation that have over 17 years’ experience delivering training and building awareness about domestic and family violence (DFV) in the workplace.

Australia’s CEO Challenge (ACEOC) works with businesses – of all sizes and from all sectors – to become more aware and responsive to DFV, ensuring greater support for staff directly impacted.

If your workplace has introduced or updated their DFV Policies to include support personal, then this training is vital for your organisation.

Darkness to Daylight Challenge

Darkness to Daylight is a symbolic 110km run with each kilometre representing the lives lost on average to domestic and family violence (DFV) each year across Australia. Participants can run the 110km individually or as part of a team. Alternatively, they can run or walk the final 10km or 3km. Australia’s CEO Challenge (ACEOC) aims to bring DFV out of the darkness and into the daylight through this community event.

The challenge is held annually during May which is Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month. Money raised during the event supports ACEOC in continuing their work to raise awareness of DFV in the workplace and support services on the frontline.

In 2019, ACEOC saw a record 2,730 participants take part in the challenge and raise over $140,000!
